StreamSync is a mobile application that helps you track TV shows and manage your viewing schedule. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how StreamSync handles your information.

Information We Collect

StreamSync does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All data you enter into the app — including your tracked shows, watched episodes, and calendar preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage.

Third-Party Services

StreamSync uses the following third-party services:

• TMDB (The Movie Database) — used to search for shows and retrieve episode information. When you search for a show, a request is sent to TMDB's API. TMDB may log this request per their own privacy policy. StreamSync does not send any personal information to TMDB. You can review TMDB's privacy policy at themoviedb.org/privacy-policy.
• Google Calendar — if you choose to enable calendar sync, StreamSync will create calendar events in your Google Calendar using your device's calendar permissions. No calendar data is transmitted to StreamSync's servers. This feature is entirely optional and can be disabled at any time in Settings.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device. StreamSync has no servers, no backend, and no database. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all associated data.

Permissions

StreamSync may request the following device permissions:

• Calendar — to optionally sync episode air dates to your device calendar. This permission is only requested if you enable calendar sync in Settings.
• Notifications — to optionally send reminders about upcoming episodes. This feature requires a development build and is not active in the current release.

Children's Privacy

StreamSync does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require any account creation or personal information to use.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
